Number of steps function of slider

This error occur when I tried to change the value of "number of steps" of a slider

I would like to ask if this is a bug? Or if I have any other ways to solve this problem and adjust the number of steps of slider as I want?

I have just checked and found the version was 2.74, after updating the app to 2.75, I am able to change the "number of steps". Thanks!!
