I'd guess its the "dynamic Components " extension ?
Meanwhile I did scan JEWEL's QR to install version 2.72d4 .
But now I DO get an error "Companion is out of date " 
It might be 6 months ago now since I ran this AP.
But I did many times successfully.
You can just ignore the CIOOD message and continue to install the CA variant.
Check the AIX version, it may need to be updated.
I uninstalled and reinstalled 2.72 .
How do I find versions of Extensions ? ( this is 4 years old and V4 )
You may need to check all your aix versions, could be any of them if you have several at 4 years old.

Thanks. I found it( I thot) [F/OS] - Dynamic Components Extension (for every component) 2.3.0 - Extensions - Kodular Community
AND I managed to avoid deleting the existing extension but IMPORT this one .
AND got friendly message ( Extension Upgraded ) .
But now is v2.3 where before it was v4.
AND I'm still getting exact same -- nothing happens.
Can you share your aia project (AP) here for testing ?
Opens and works/runs just fine in companion (2.72u) here on a Google Pixel 8a Android 14.
What is your environment, Android version, companion version, Device Make and Model ?
Andriod 14 , Companion 2.72, Samsung Galaxy A53

You can install it from AI2:
Only issue I can see may be Samsung Galaxy A53.
You may need to try the companion variant from the QR code linked above.
Running 2.72u has the same problem.
I get the impression that the progress bar ( in Chrome) terminates before completing .
And around 6+ months ago I was still using the A53 successfully.

But I did it cos I saw a NOT NOW response which I never tried before.
And thsi time I get an arror " Unable to load extensions.java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: start 1, end 0, length 0
"

OK, reset the AI2 app and the companion.

Load companion on your device and check for version 2.72d4
-
Start AI2 and try to connect your project.
If that doesn't work, make a backup of your aia, then remove the Drag and Drop extension.
Then do steps 1-3 again.
Does it work ?
And then I simply TRIED IT AGAIN and it worked ! ?
