New Contributor — Need Guidance to Start Contributing to MIT App Inventor

Hi everyone :wave:

I’m new to MIT App Inventor and really excited to start contributing to this amazing open-source project.
I’ve checked out the GitHub repository but I’m a bit unsure how to properly set up the development environment on my system and where to find beginner-friendly issues to start with.

Could someone please guide me or share any beginner resources or steps to get started with contributions?

Make sure to install Java 11 and ant, and verify the Java version by running javac -version. Then, follow the instructions in the README to get set up. If you encounter issues, please reply here.
