Has anyone used the "Persistent Session" function of the MQTT extinction (Ullis Roboter Seite/AI2 MQTT)? I haven't been able to activate it. I have set "CleanSession" to "false" and "QoS" to "1", but the broker does not store messages in case the client is not connected.

perhaps the answer is in one of these MQTT discussions? Maybe the client must be connected?

Perhaps you should be using the current version of Ullis Roboter MQTT extension and not the version you provided a link to Gianmario which is obsolete. See Ullis Roboter Seite/AI2 MQTT which is based on the Eclipse Paho Java Client. I do not know and am guessing because the site you provided says so.
