MIT App Inventor for iOS Version 2.73.1 in TestFlight

Hello everyone,

The MIT App Inventor for iOS companion app version 2.73.1 is now available for beta testing. If you'd like to help us beta test, please use Join the MIT App Inventor beta - TestFlight - Apple to join the beta testing program.

This version contains the following changes beyond 2.73:

  • Implement the LOBFValues helper block
  • Implement the ScreenOrientation helper block
  • Fix an issue where changing a Marker's Latitude/Longitude properties, or using SetLocation, failed to update the position on the map
  • Fix an issue where long pressing on a Map would trigger the event much later than in Android
  • Fix a potential crash in symbol resolution

In build 2:

  • Fix an issue where the Wifi warning at startup would not be dismissable

Build 2 is now is available to fix an issue where the dialog that warns about a lack of WiFi cannot be dismissed.
