MIT App Inventor for iOS Version 2.64.2 in TestFlight

Hello everyone,

We have made the MIT App Inventor for iOS Companion version 2.64.2 build 1 available in Apple TestFlight. Use this link to sign up for TestFlight and join the beta test. This version contains the following changes:

  • Add support for accessibility features including AlternateText, HighContrast, and LargeFont
  • Add support for the new list processing blocks (map, reduce, etc.)
  • Add support for using the camera in multi-app environments on iPadOS 16

This post will be updated with any new issues discovered as part of this release.

Hi all,

We have updated the build in TestFlight to 2.64.2 build 4. This update includes the following items:

  • Fix a potential timing issue with screen switching
  • Fix a crash on startup due to a conflict between wifi detection and onboarding screen
  • Fix a bug in IP address detection algorithm

but with extensions its not gonna work.

We have updated the build in TestFlight to 2.64.2 build 7. This update includes the following items:

  • Implement a ChatBot component (on ai2-test, by invite only)
  • Fix an issue related to TTS language code lookups
  • Fix an issue handling transitions between screens in multi-screen apps
