Hello everyone,

Today we are releasing iOS version 0.9 (build 8) to TestFlight. This version contains the following features and bug fixes:

  • Add preliminary support for dictionaries
  • Fix infinite loop in the text split block
  • Fix issue where audio sessions died after stopping recording
  • Fix crash due to bad number to string cast
  • Implement automatic milliseconds to instants conversion
  • Fix crash when using Spinner component on iPad
  • Make visibility check recursive to fix some layout issues
  • Fix some malformed error message strings
  • Notify users when landscape mode is required
  • Fix an issue where textbox backgrounds disappear
  • Add support for assets to be accessed with the Files app
  • Fix a bug that resulted in map features being duplicated
  • Fix a memory issue in error reporting causing a crash
  • Fix some improperly annotated blocks

Are there any updates to the companion's public release?

Can you tell me if there will be a way of creating an android app and converting it to an ios app from App inventor automatically?
