Hello everyone,

We have released a new beta version of MIT App Inventor for iOS to Apple TestFlight. This version is 0.9 build 4. It contains the following bug fixes:

  • Fixed TextToSpeech not working when device in silent mode
  • Make containers handle visibility instead of components
  • Fix button label wrapping in iOS
  • Make ButtonBase components and Label assert default dimensions
  • Show alert in Form’s view and resize view for keyboard
  • Implement ReadOnly property for TextBoxBase
  • Fix Clock.Timer only fires if TimerAlwaysFires is true
  • Add unit tests for TextBox.NumbersOnly property
  • Fix random replacements and negative numbers
  • Allow decimal separator in NumbersOnly text box
  • Fix Scheme #f not returning as Objective-C NO
  • Add Platform and PlatformVersion properties to Screen (iOS)
  • Implement FillOpacity and StrokeOpacity for map features

since you are also asking here i deleted your other topic. Please don’t post everywhere.

You can not build an app for ios yet. We are still in the testing fase where onlythe Companion is developed.
