Are you signed up to the testing group to build iOS apps ?
No. What testing group?
You will therefore not be able to build ios apps. ios is still in a testing phase, with many issues still to be resolved. You can create apps and test with the companion app, but you cannot currently compile ios apps.
Aha! Okay. Thanks. The article does not mention that anywhere. It implies it has been rolled out and ready to use.
@ewpatton I think there should be a note/warning on top of that page for warning users to not use the iOS server unless they are signed up to the testing group to build iOS apps. I've bumped into many users confused for this...
I will add a disclaimer in the next buildserver release.
Is there a way to add me into the testing group to build iOS apps?
can I be added to the test group please?
The test server is now under an "open beta" policy. You must log in to https://iosbuildservertest.appinventor.mit.edu/ in order to use it.
