Missing document

Currently I'm trying the IoT with microbit, and reading thru the following pdf for instruction -- http://iot.appinventor.mit.edu/assets/howtos/MIT_App_Inventor_Microbit_LED.pdf. Inside it, there is a link to another tutorial ( App Inventor + IoT Basic Connection tutorial)

After clicking this link, an error appeared: "File is in owner's trash".

Sorry, the link in the pdf is stale.

or http://iot.appinventor.mit.edu/assets/howtos/MIT_App_Inventor_IoT_Button.pdf Steven while MIT corrects the link.

Hi

Currently, there are a few things not quite right between App Inventor and the MicroBit. You may find the tutorials refer to blocks that no longer exist for example. I have a number of useful links on my Site that should be useful to you:

You can also search the forum to see how others have worked around issues they found.

Hi Evan,

Thank you for the fix. The missing document is using Arduino, but it still works when I try it on micro:bit.

But another similar issue appeared when I try to download an extension at http://iot.appinventor.mit.edu/assets/com.bbc.micro:bit.profile.aix . It gives me a 404 file not found error.

The newest version of the micro:bit extension can be found here: http://iot.appinventor.mit.edu/assets/resources/SimpleMicrobit.aix

We'll need to review all the PDFs to see where things point to the old extension.
