Manual for New App - IN App

Hello, I’m Ted ’ - Newbie!
I have used the search, but could not find a solution or better, guidance for my problem…
I am designing a PMW controller for model railways and am on a good way, but I want to include a manual or help for the use of the app.
This should be IN the app and called up with a button ‘Manual’ or ‘Help’ and then a ‘Back’ button to the app.
Any guidance (including help with the blocks!?) is appreciated, remember, I am a Newbie…
Thanks for your help!
Ted

Perhaps store your documentation in a pdf or html and read it with the WebViewer

Taifun’s advice:

or use a Text file stored in Media. Either load the file into a Label or use the File Control to access it ( File )

What you do depends on how much work you want to do, your AI2 skills and how ‘pretty’ the documentation must be.

There are extensions that can simplify some options.

Here are some resources to help you learn to use the AI2 tools. A very good way to learn App Inventor is to read the free Inventor’s Manual here in the AI2 free online eBook http://www.appinventor.org/book2 … the links are at the bottom of the Web page. The book ‘teaches’ users how to program with AI2 blocks.

There is a free programming course here http://www.appinventor.org/content/CourseInABox/Intro and the aia files for the projects in the book are here: http://www.appinventor.org/bookFiles

How to do a lot of basic things with App Inventor are described here: http://www.appinventor.org/content/howDoYou/eventHandling .
