Can anyone direct me to a stock market app tutorial, I have scoured google, here, and YouTube and all I found were outdated ones for app inventor 1

The AI2 tutorial using the yahoo finance api http://www.appinventor.org/bookChapters/chapter24.pdf has not worked since 2018 when Yahoo changed their terms of usage. You will have to use another api; there are several mentioned in the first link.but I think the reference mentioned is stale. Try stock market api - Google Search
