When I try to login after clicking a button with firedb I need to click it three times

See your block.. How logical sequence is irrelevant ..
You must set like this.
If the text boxes are not empty then call tag list
After getting tag list
Check the username is exist in this list or not
If not then call firebase value for password
After getting firebase value then check password match.
If match go to next elsr just show alert
Your problem is, upon every click your app doing one by one. First click get tag list second click get the password and on third click only checking taglist anf pwd match. You must set events to be in order
