How to read the identification code and send a command from the Android app to make them beep?

What have you tried ?

You will need to connect to the device by bluetooth, then send the correct codes in order to activate the device.

RFID is probably something you may want to look into...
Edit: RFID requires neither barcode nor contact to function.
