Issue details
Your app must target Android 16 (API level 36) or higher.
To provide users with a safe experience, Google Play requires all apps to meet target API level requirements.
Starting August 30, 2026, if your target API level is not within one year of the latest Android version release, you will not be able to update your app.
Solution
Your highest target API level that does not meet the requirements is Android 15 (API level 35).
To ensure you can continue updating your app, you must:
Update your app to target Android 16 (API level 36) or higher.
Publish a new version of your app to the production track. Before doing so, you can run internal, closed, or open tests for your app.
