Is there a possibility to use global procedures?

I want to use the same procedure on different screens. Is there a possibility to use global procedures, doing not doubles?

As far as I know, this is not possible. However I'd like to throw light on the Backpack feature of AppInventor, that allows you to drag and drop blocks of code and use them on multiple screens (or even multiple projects) - which is very much like copy-paste.

A procedure downloaded as a blocks image onto your hard drive can be dragged directly into the Blocks Editor for a new Screen or Project.

If you name the .png after the procedure, that makes it easy to find projects that use that procedure, using your desktop file manager.
