Is it possible to create a barcode that results in a label or image being visible or even opening another page in the application?

Good afternoon to all team members. I want to change the well-known barcode reader application a bit. The idea is this: in front of the monuments in the square of my island (Zakynthos, Greece, Europe) I will place informative signs with a barcode.... But!!!!! Instead of a web page (of which I will have made the barcode), a photo or a text uploaded to the application will open. In other words, is it possible to create a barcode that results in a label or image being visible or even opening another page in the application?
The ultimate goal is to use the barcode reader but to not need internet to run the application. Thank you in advance for your advice

Short answer, yes.

  • Scan barcode
  • Based on barcode number, display data and images stored on the app

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!! I made qr codes for numbers 1, 2 and 3. When I scanned, the result appeared on a label. then using "if then" I made an image visible.
