Hello, i am trying to design an app in app inventor to use the built-in infrared blaster in my phone. But I was unable to find any infrared extension. Is there anyone who used the infrared extension in building their app ??

afaik up to now there does not exist an infrared extension, see also the extensions directory here App Inventor Extensions | Pura Vida Apps
you could write your own extension and create the functionality yourself...
more information about how to create an extension see the App Inventor Extensions document
however that will be more advanced and will require some Java skills...
