These applications disguise themselves as legitimate apps or games to appear harmless in app stores and to users, and use techniques such as obfuscation, dynamic code loading, or cloaking to display potentially malicious content.
Riskware is similar to other categories of potentially harmful applications, specifically Trojans, with the main difference being the techniques used to obfuscate the malicious activity.
