Is there any way to take mp4 files from google drive and put it into a video player in appinventor?

Yes, but you would probably need to download the entire video first before playback.
Also, if you don't want to download the whole video, you could alternatively upload that to YouTube and use a Video extension, if the video has no problems to be public.
