Imagebot is not working

When I try to use the imagebot it gives me a 404 error from DALL-E (error 4300). I’ve tried it with both the api key filled in and blank. Can someone see if this is just my error or if there is actually like a problem with the bot? I know some others who are having the same issues as well.

I have the same issue with Imagebot. It throws error 3400 with 404 error

Using the ChatBot control with the default settings, I get this :

So using the ChatBot control with an image AND the default settings works .

I believe the ImageBot control has not worked for a long time.

Are you using the Image or Chat control?

DALL-E closed May 12th 2026 : ImageBot component warning

OpenAI definitively closed APIs of DALL-E 2 and 3 , if the informations I read are true . Actually , also , from a week my old app from 2025 , that used the ImageBot , reports a Dall-E error : I think is probably because of the Dall-E API's and product dismission ? Is not actually a big problem for me , but is to inform the community for this big change If the fail is from the not working APIs , well , we could update the component My regards and thanks Gino

I meant when you try to generate an image based on a prompt.

The ImageBot component did use DALL-E and we have not updated it to use any other models at this time. While we figure out the direction we want to take with it, I would recommend you switch to using the CreateImage block in the ChatBot component.

ImageBot, image creation should now work again. Editing is disabled (for now). The update uses Gemini (Nano Banana), so if you use your own API key, you need to use a Gemini API Key.
