Image shows on device but not in Design Vew

My students are having a situation where images will show up on a students device but not in Design View. They have the image component set up correctly. And in one sense it is working properly but why doesn't it show up in design view.

This is happening in a random fashion. I have found no pattern.

Hello,

are you setting the Image.Picture property in the Design or using blocks?

When you set the image.picture in Design...the you will see it in Design but if you are setting the picture with the block property then it will be displayed in device but not in Design screen...is this the case?

They are setting up the image in the design view. And it is never changed.
