For most developers, all that is needed to update your app level is to

  • Bump up your app's version level manually.

  • rebuild your app using the latest version of App Inventor August 25, 2025 nb202b.

  • Use the latest Companion for your build (2.76 or 2.76u).

MIT has added what is needed to update in the latest version of the compiler.

Target sdk is 35 and this is all you need nowadays
