You probably installed aiStarter OK. The issue is you do not understand how to use it.

Here is help Setup computer and phone/tablet or emulator for live testing as you build

You only need aiStarter if you need to use the emulator or to hook up your device using an USB cable.

Once you get to the screen you show, you should be able to go to #1 , then #2 and run the emulator.

connectEmulator

Is that what you want to do?

I thought after downloading the app I would be able to play around with the app like I am able to do online. You are right I just started using the app and also new in the whole app development.
