I wanted to download the apk of my project to check if something worked, and it wouldn't let me download it and I got a huge text. I tried to make some changes thinking it was something related to the blocks or something, and then it wouldn't even let me open my project. I tried downloading the .aia file and importing it again and it doesn't open that way either. I tried to reset the project and selected it, and it says no project was selected.

Hi, I am also having a bug. I don't know how to paste it in here or anything, and this is a project that is well overdue, but I was given time. I have to turn it in before the quarter ends in a few days. I need to turn in asap. I was almost done. Can you help me as soon as possible? Is it possible to fix? Or do I have to restart

I deleted a screen I didn’t need. I had an extra one, and it automatically just stopped working. It lets me click on other ones I have done, but I cannot click this particular one, which I need.

Export the aia from the project list and post it here

This URL allows you to open AI2 to the Project List, without opening any project.

From that list, you can request Exports of Projects without trying to open them.

It is possibly easier in linux which treats an aia file as a zip. Do what you have to do in your OS...

  • Download your project as an aia file
  • Open up the aia project in your zip program
  • Double click on the youngandroidproject folder to open it
  • Right click and open project.properties in a text editor
  • Scroll down to find lastopened=xxxxx
  • Set this to lastopened=Screen1
  • Save the file
  • Close the aia project (zip - rename as required)

You might be trying to open the old aia file.

Check your browser’s Download location from the top of the browser:

Dowlnload location

Try importing mine to

AI2 Code Server

just to be sure.

P.S. Delete the old aia before you download mine, just to be sure you got the new one.

AI2 will want to change the name when it imports the new one, to avoid duplication.
