How to set notification when the dates appear?

Hello! I have been trying to send notification to the phone when the dates appear. I am not sure how to do it. Do I have to use notification extension? If I do need to use notification extension, which one should I download? And how should I use to the blocks to make it happen? I am new to this platform. Please Help!

when the item is exxpired

Does this mean the item is not available or that a expiration time has elapsed?

You may need:

• Notifier
• Clock

• a way to check if the item is in a List. There is a Block for that.
