How to send emoticon to arduino led display via bluetooth

Hi, we are creating an IoT device which is Emoticon LED Display with Arduino uno as microcontroller. We are trying to display an emoji via Bluetooth but it only displays the filename of the image. How can we display an emoticon to our led? We are using P10 btw.

Welcome.

Perhaps this is what you want to do with the arduino part. It shows what script arduino requires but is not an App Inventor tutorial

That's a big display - does the manufacturer not provide instructions on how to switch on only the required LEDs in the display? There should at least be a row-column numbering system (cells) for that. You will have to manually graph the emoticon on paper first to determine which LEDs to actually turn on (unless of course someone has already done it and published the cell number ids).

OR, very simple message could have been - Thank you.
