The application is currently being checked by google. I couldn't update the previous version of the application so I decided to upload it as a new application. There were problems with the name of the application, etc. Is it possible to remove the previous application from google play? I do not want the two versions of the application to interfere with each other.

It should be possible to remove any application from Play. I hve never done so myself but it looks easy enough:
