How do you Create an app in MIT App Inventor to take a picture and add a shirt or dress to it?

Hi All, Any help is appreciated.

How to Create an app in MIT App Inventor to take a picture and add a shirt or dress to it. Image of the shirt can be already available or taken from the link directly.
I want to take picture and get a shirt or dress from Amazon and merge on the photo.

Hi All,

I am able to create a button to take a Photo and Select button to upload a Dress.PNG, But how to i put the Dress.PNG on the Photo?

I googled and it says to use imagesprite to adjust it. Any guidance is appreciated?

What you hope to do would be VERY complex with App Inventor.

  • Use the Camera, take a picture then save the picture to a Canvas.
  • make an image of the shirt/dress with a transparent background using an image manipulation program outside of App Inventor. How to Overlay Pictures (with Pictures) - wikiHow
  • add the ImageSprite to the Canvas. Move the Sprite on the Canvas to cover the part of the picture you want to cover.
