There is no tutorial showing how to use App Inventor to create a Google Fit app.

The advice is primarily for developers using Android Studio. The professional, free compiler has access to the necessary libraries. App Inventor does not. I suspect access to Google Fit is not possible using App Inventor Blocks. To do something similar with App Inventor, you might be able to use an extension to provide the libraries. I am not aware of any extension that does that.

They do not produce a solution; only suggest things you might be able to do. Unfortunately App Inventor does not presently include the required Java libraries.
