How do I set ringtones/alarms without TaifunSettings extension?

How do I set a ringtone/alarm without the paid version of the TaifunSettings extension? Is there another extension or activity starter method?

if there were another method, I would not have spent time into developing the extension...

you could write your own extension and create the functionality yourself...
more information about how to create an extension see the App Inventor Extensions document
however that will be more advanced and will require some Java skills...

I found no activity starter method. I want a method that can set the title, type, and source like the original extension. I have no Java knowledge and the AppyBuilder Code Editor does not build any Java code to copy and paste.
