how to rename the project
export the project, rename the file, and import it back into app inventor.
the original project will still remain, and you can delete it, although it's better to keep it as a backup.
Double check the app name attribute in Screen1 attributes in the new project, to see if it changed to the new project name.

Or, open your project and select Project > Save As. You get to copy your project with the name that you want.
