How do I get rid of white font outlines?

How do I get my app to look like this.

Not this.

All of that white outlines make it look messy to me. Not crisp.
I've tried changing fonts, font colors, all four themes Changing to a white background makes it look better but, only because you can't see the white outline.

It isn't just the text box. All of the lettering has a white outline.

Thanks everyone, it's the device. (Samsung TabA with Android 10) Tried it on two older devices and it shows properly.
I hate it that these company's are trying to save us from ourselves. The newer the device the less control over it we have.

Ah, Samsung has their own version of UI, so that may be the root cause.

It must have came with high contrast turned on. Changed it and all is well.
