How do I edit text without having to update the app?

Hi there, I'm looking for a way to edit text for a radio app, there are currently lots of vacant DJ slots and I'm close to finishing the app is there a way to update the timeslot on the app without having to update the app and upload update to Google?

I am very new at this and have been teaching myself with YouTube videos. Apologies if the question has already been answered before. Not sure what to search for as I am still learning terminology.

If your app and text is tightly coupled then there is no way to modify it without updating the app, but if you are picking text from an external data sourse or online data sourse then you would be able to modify text, no need to update the application.
