How do I create a widget?

How do I make my app into a widget with this? Cannot find any posts or options related to this.

Hi Aki … widgets in Android are Service apps. App Inventor 2 can not create a Service (an app that runs in the background). Consequently it is impossible to create a widget using AI2.
