Hello. How can I import a .iam 3d model in mit app inventor?

How can I import a .iam 3d model in mit app inventor?

Probably not possible with App Inventor.

An iam image file is a proprietary CAD file that works with special software tools, not App Inventor.

It's a common CAD file format, if you search for phone Apps that can load this file type, you may find that an API exists for Android. You then need to persuade one of the App Inventor extension developers that it would be worthwhile creating an extension. If you are willing to pay for all that, then there is a chance.

Alternatively, you may be able to find an internet based viewer, which may also offer an API. If you are lucky and one does exist, Sunny Gupta might be willing to add it to his Custom Web View extension.

So - do your research.

you could write your own extension and create the functionality yourself...

more information about how to create an extension see the App Inventor Extensions document

however that will be more advanced and will require some Java skills...
