Hello MIT App Inventor Community!
My name is Marouane Blybel, and I am excited to introduce myself as a potential GSoC 2026 contributor. I have been following the development of App Inventor and am particularly drawn to your mission of democratizing mobile app creation.
Background: I have experience with Java and JavaScript, and I’ve been focusing my recent learning on Machine Learning and AI. I am very interested in the project ideas involving Generative AI Blocks and Teachable AI interfaces. I believe that making these complex tools accessible through block-based coding is a game-changer for students worldwide.
Progress so far: I am currently working on setting up the appinventor-sources repository locally to better understand the architecture. I’ve also been exploring the current AI components in the system to see where I can contribute most effectively.
Goal: I am looking forward to discussing project ideas with the mentors and hopefully making some initial contributions to the repository before the application deadline.
