More information is needed to diagnose this problem.
Too many web services have had problems lately.
Export your .aia file and upload it here.
It would really help if you provided a screenshot of your relevant blocks, so we can see what you are trying to do, and where the problem may be.
To get an image of your blocks, right click in the Blocks Editor and select "Download Blocks as Image". You might want to use an image editor to crop etc. if required. Then post it here in the community.

You are using the default MIT TinyWebDB service.
I just tried to store a tag/value there and got the error message
It might be possible that the web address
http://tinywebdb.appinventor.mit.edu
is unreachable, due to recent MIT server moves.
I am referring this to an MIT back end guy @jis.
It should be working again.
