Will you suggest to apply limit in kilobytes or number of items to cache. I think number of items will not be appropriate as this is list view and may contains large items.
I'd say use both for the local cache, and let's make it configurable so users can set their own limits.

when a filter is applied to the list, the .onchekboxchanged event returns empty.
When filter is applied to the list view, checkbed items list will reset.
I will check if this can be fixed.
The selection color cannot be configured; it remains invisible. You can only configure the color for the selected item.
If you are talking about selection touch feedback then you need to enable it with property touch feedback.

When I import the component its is listed as a "non visible component".
I was expecting it as a visible button or table?
Please help me to understand that.

Since this is an extension it is a non visible component. Drag it on your screen and in blocks you can see the functions and events.
