For the past several days it has not connected to the emulator.
I didn't have this problem but it has been stuck on it for several days now.
When was the last time you rebooted your PC?
Reboot or just shutdown?
I think I reboot often for some reason I can't remember.
And I shut it down often
You are using aistarter.
A different emulator and Connect->Companion avoids this.
A couple things to check:
- If you haven't already, you may need to update the companion app as the version bundled with the old emulator is quite old (about 9 years now). Use the Help > Update the Companion menu item to initiate an update after loading your project.
- If your project includes extensions, this will cause problems when initializing the UI. Try a simple project like HelloPurr to confirm that the connection can succeed.
