I'm looking for someone who can code an extension that can display an App Inventor app on top of other apps. This is almost similar to the floating view extension, but I need to display the floating view over the entire width of the screen. Can anyone help?
Um, why not just open the app (with activityStarter etc.) ?
I need to display a screen on top of another application. So I need to show e.g. VLC and show some information as osd.
Is this also an AppInventor app ?
No, the other App is either VLC, TrueDVD or a browser. Those App have functions that aren't possible with App Inventor. This is why I used the floating view extension . This works fine, but it is not possible to display the floating view over the entire width of the screen - just half width.
This is a contradiction, isn't it?

This picture show what I want to do. The floating view app from App inventor shows 1 :0W 2: 0W etc. over the VLC-Player. This works fine, but the extension can not use the full width of the screen. I want to show this over the full width.

You want to show your App Inventor app partially on top of another app (here VLC player) in full width.
Probably this extension is able to do it?
You might want to ask the authors of those extensions...
