File extraction, and redirection

Im looking for answers on capability of using MIT App inventor to extract, files or images from a device and redirect them to store in an external cloud server such as Owncloud. The connection with the cloud server will be through a URL code: http://192.168.4.1/owncloud

Yes, AppInventor is capable of doing that.

Find out from OwnCloud the url and parameters needed to upload a file to a given directory, then use the web component.

There are several methods you can use to pick a file from your device.
