Hey it's me again
My app is uploaded to the play store, and live for closed testing, but the downloads are getting this error 
the apk works just fine.
I've been googling the issue but I don't find anything that helps. Please help me clever people
When do they get the error?
Do you see it if you download from PlayStore and do a fresh install?

On opening the app the error appears
It only happens with a fresh playstore install. The straight APK works just fine
After hours and HOURS of trouble shooting, I've confirmed that the cardview extension I was using was the issue. Can anyone reccomend a cardview that works with aab?
The one I am using was made by black knight and is just called cardview. I'm using the older, more basic version, I assume older, as the one with the bigger blocks had more than I needed. Using the one with libraries

You could also try another extension that offers cardview:
