[Feature Request] Can we use the IR LED on the phone with app inventor?

Hello everyone,
Can we use the IR(Infrared) LED on the phone with app inventor?
Exactly what I want to do is to send the control codes to any device. I searched on the internet, but I couldn't find any clear information. If there is an extension for this, can you share the name?
if there is no extension
From mit app inventor to the phone's Infrared Led address
how can I reach ?
Would you consider adding a sensor?

You might want to try the IR Transmitter Extension by Ulli
