Our robotics team is working on an app that will send an audio notification to the phone when an object comes within range of the EV3 ultrasonic sensor. We are having a problem where the Lego Mindstorms EV3 brick and the phone connect, but then the reading in the text box we set to show the ultrasonic sensor's reading is a -1, indicating that the app isn't receiving or understanding the data coming from the sensor.
