COMPONENTS.get(LAST_ID);

Your hashmap/table , returned a Component and not an AndroidViewComponent , which you've initalized your variable type to, in order to make it work, you should change your variable type to Component, or use the hashmap, with AndroidViewComponent , i'm not sure if type casting would work here

about the LAST_ID variable?

It doesn't matter as i think, it's all about setting a variable with AndroidViewComponent type to Component type, both aren't the same.
