I'm saving a large amount of text to a CSV file and saving it using Unicode UTF-8. But after the rescue; I get a nasty surprise 
Where, with what? Show what you are doing and how you are doing it.
AI2 automatically uses utf-8
I'm using the Libre Office Calc program, to save and convert to UTF-8; since in the companion, I visualized the anticipated question marks.
Where did the data come from that is not in utf-8 ?
Tim maybe I'm catching the mistake where I make it; basically I'm copying the text from the companion into the CSV file; and since in the companion the text is already converted to UTF-8, doing a further conversion..the characters are overwritten.
What about exporting the data from Libre Office Calc directly into a csv file?
