At times, the drop down menu make selection automatically without you make the selection and it does that very fast. This causes trouble because you don't know what changes were made to the code and you have to spend time to look for the changes. How can you prevent thise from happening?
I haven't seen this.

Let's be sure we are talking about the same menu - do you mean the right-mouse click menu in the Blocks work area? If that is working automatically it could indeed cause some confusion, though the really powerful options such as 'Delete ??? Blocks' has a safeguard dialog window.
What browser are you using? We recommend FireFox or Chrome. Other browsers such as Edge are not necessarily 100% compatible with App Inventor.
