Designer Display Issue with specific project (when loading a Classic designer aia using Neo or vice versa)

Opened a project I created a week ago, and all button texts not visible. Hovering over them showed the text in white and made button background green.

Only seems to be this project that is affected, my other projects, older and younger than this one, show the button texts with normal behaviour/appearance.

I also saved out the project to a new name, exported, deleted, imported, same behaviour.

Also tried restarted AI2 (am using code server) and restarting my browser (Brave)

Doh, solved, was in Classic theme, returned to Default theme, all OK. (I had opened and switched themes to test something for someone else, and forgot to change back.)

NOT Solved. If one obtains a Classic themed aia from elsewhere and loads it on a Neo themed it should run without issues and the converse is also true; when obtains a Neo themed aia from else where on on a Classic set themed Designer however it doesn't.

@ewpatton The loader should be able to recognize if Classis or Neot created the aia and MAKE the aia compatible with the Theme in use by the developer loading the aia; shouldn't it?

Currently I frequently experience this phenomena . I use Classis.

I believe this is a regression in the designer due to the introduction of the dark theme. We'll have to investigate.

Agreed its a bug, but I solved my initial problem. I don't use Classic anymore.

WIll App Inventor 1 ever return ? I'm passioned about old tech and I like the old version , as I saw from some youtube videos . If the source code would be available it will be a good thing so that anyone passioned by old tech could study it ...

Anyway it seems Kodular is compatible with more extensions than App Inventor ( even if App Inventor is , for me , much simplier ) : for example , when I made a Kodular project ( the first and the last ) and I put the Fingerprint extension App Inventor said it cannot load the file because is from " a future version of App Inventor " or something like this . Will ever come App Inventor 3 , so that will be compatible with even more extensions ?
