Copy paste drop location

can we control where copy / paste will drop the new blocks?

It appears that it always drops the new blocks down and to the right a bit, regardless of where i position my pointer to paste.

sometimes its several screen s of scrolling and dragging the new block to where i need it.

I agree, that's a pain in the neck.

As a workaround, recent updates have implemented helicopter drag, where you will automatically be scrolled forther down when you drag to the edge of the screen.

Other workarounds include

  • temporarily adding the block to the backpack (I keep mine always empty)
  • downloading it as a png, and dragging in the png at the new location.
